Well we´ll start off with last Monday. We
got to go to the mission home for a conference. The zone leaders and
sister training leaders were there, and boy was it awesome. Seriously so
much fun. When the President was talking to us, the Spirit was insane.
So incredibly strong. I am so grateful to have a President who cares so
much about the work and especially his missionaries. We mostly talked
about what areas could be split or opened because there are too many
missionaries for areas. How awesome is that!!!
Zone conference was also this week and unfortunately
Hermana Hodson and I had to give the main part of it. Lucky us. It was
good practice but I was scared out of my mind most of the time. It went
well though. We taught on how to teach our investigators repentance and
why it is so important to teach them it. It was a good topic to study
beforehand. Learned a lot.
We have to be in our ward choir for the Christmas
concert. There aren´t too many of us so she assigned me to sing alto.
I´m the only one so far and don´t know how to sing alto...yet. It´s
going to fun, haha.
The family is still having problems. I have never
seen people more ready to get baptized in my mission, but they are having
marriage issues so they don´t want to get baptized until they figure it
out. We keep stressing that if they put the Lord first, everything will
naturally work itself out. We are still working with them because their
testimonies are so strong right now!
Everything else is great here. The city is beautiful
and the Lord is blessing us. Thanks for everything everyone! Hope all
is well and that everyone is getting ready to eat a lot for
Thanksgiving! Love to everyone!
